Operation Qualification / Performance
Verification (OQ/PV) is a support service provided by SC Chromatography
that ensures
that the tested equipment is performing according to specifications.
The tests cover the sample introduction, system performance, electronic
components, detectors, and some of the other critical hardware
based on established conditions with known sample characteristics.
SC Chromatography recommends that the tests be scheduled at least
once a year. However, it is up to the customer to determine the
frequency of the tests.
The OQ/PV procedure is not a substitute for regular planned maintenance.
On the other hand, a regular planned maintenance service does not
eliminate the need for an OQ/PV. The actual OQ/PV procedure does
not cover any repairs or planned maintenance.
